Tracfone Phones

Tracfone, unlike other prepaid mobile phone companys, actually has some pretty decent phones. They have phones from Motorolla, such as the V3 Razor, and some really good Nokia's.

The Nokia offerings are not as trendy or new as the Motorolla products, but in my experience Nokia's are very, very reliable. I actually dropped my Nokia XpressMusic in the water last week and after letting it dry for a week, it works just like new. The Nokia 3595 was also one of their legendary phones. They are the honda's or toyota's of mobile phones (read: not the porches :-P), and you really can't kill em.

If your looking for a prepaid company with good phones, I'd really recommend Tracfone. They are the oldest prepaid company in the United States and one of the most reliable and stand up companys. Virgin Mobile (trust me, I worked there) is very shady and is all about giving it to the customer (in the bad way, not the good way). Boost Mobile is also a bit shady, but Tracfone is honestly the most stand up one. They have a great replacement policy on their phones, and they will work with you to get a new phone out.

If your looking for free phones for tracfone, you might want to check their website and local major electronics retailers such as Best Buy or even Wal-Mart. You can often find phones bundled with the prepaid cards, making the phone essentially free.
